Dr. Varayini Yoganathan

Dr. Varayini Yoganathan is an Endodontist based in the Hills District of Sydney, Australia. She has over
nine years’ experience in private practice Endodontics and has attained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery
and Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics from Otago University, New Zealand.
She owns and operates the premier specialist dental practice in the Hills District of Sydney, Australian
Dental Specialists. Her special areas of interest are minimally invasive endodontic treatments, the endo-
restorative interface, and most recently enhanced irrigation strategies.

Dr Harry Mohan
Short bio
Dr Harry Mohan completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne in 2008, before commencing work as a Dental Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force. Harry was posted to RAAF bases in South Australia and NSW, and then transitioned to private dental practice in the Blue Mountains and NSW Central Coast. He later completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry specialising in Endodontics at the University of Melbourne and has special interests in dental trauma and helping patients with dental fear and anxiety. Harry is a regular CPD presenter in NSW and a clinical tutor for the University of Melbourne. He works in referral-based specialist practices in Shellharbour and Gregory Hills, NSW.

Dr Omar Ikram
Short bio
Omar was born in Christchurch New Zealand and completed his Bachelor of Dental surgery degree at Otago University. After working in New Zealand he moved to London in the United Kingdom, practising in both NHS and Private practices. During his time there he gained significant experience in cosmetic and emergency dentistry. In 2005 he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons , the same year he began Specialist training in Endodontology at King’s College, London. His Masters thesis investigating: Tooth Tissue Volume Changes Following Endodontic Procedures and Post Space Preparation- was the first study of its kind using micro computed tomography. The findings were presented at the American Association of Endodontists Spring meeting, in Florida 2009 and published in the International Endodontic Journal , during his final year.
After completion of specialist training he re-located to Sydney and treated the State waitlist in Sydney Dental hospital, as well as establishing Specialist Endo Crows Nest. A private practice with the specific aim to help educate dentists and treat the endodontic needs of patients.
For his work in the wider dental community he was inducted into the International College of Dentists in 2019.
In 2021 he co- created a popular smart phone App called ‘EndoPrep’ – designed to help dentists plan cases and gain more enthusiasm for Endodontics.
In 2021 he was nominated by his peers and became a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr Marcus T Yan

Dr Marcus Yan has been a specialist endodontist in a full-time private practice in Sydney since 2002. He is a former president of the Australian Society of Endodontology (NSW) Branch and is the current Councillor member (Australia) of the Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation. He has been regularly involved in conducting courses in endodontics with Continuing Education in Dentistry at the University of Sydney since 2002.
In 2015 Marcus was appointed as a Guest Professor for the Masters of Endodontics program at the International University in Cambodia. In 2017 he became a Senior Lecturer in Endodontics at University of Queensland. In 2021 Marcus was appointed as an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Puthisastra in Cambodia.
Marcus lectures both nationally and internationally. He has particular interests in rotary instrumentation and surgical endodontics.
